SURREY, British Columbia — In the Cliff Keen Wrestling Club debut, Andrew Howe captured the individual title at 74kg/163 pounds at the Hargobind International on Saturday (Nov. 5) at the Guildford Rec Centre.
Howe beat Canada’s Matt Gentry, a former NCAA champion from Stanford and part-time member of the CKWC, 1-0, 2-1, in the 74kg championship match. Howe claimed the fist period on a clinch then used a chest lock to take control in the second.
